The U17A Manitoba Frost teams! These athletes competed in the Curtis Ptolemy Memorial U17A division of the Saskatoon tournament this weekend🥍
After meeting again in the quarterfinal, the Frost White would defeat Frost Blue and move on to tie for 3rd place due to the bronze medal game being cancelled, with unforeseen conditions at one of the hosting arenas.
Frost White members Will Sedleski and Vaughn McLeod led the charge on offense for our U17s, putting up 24 points (15G/9A) and 14 points (10G/4A) respectively, earning them the #2 and 3 spots on the U17 division leaderboard🎯
Thank you to all the U17 Frost players and parents who were apart of these two teams and made the trip out to Saskatoon! Thanks to our coaches; Sr Blizzard’s Zach Laberge, Jr A Blizz coach Jarrett Wood and Jr B Blizz’s Tyler Packolyk for their dedication to the teams, and a special thanks to Team Toba’s Murray Sedleski who went above and beyond for these athletes over the course of the program!

The U15A Manitoba Frost teams took Saskatoon by storm this weekend as they competed in the Justin Sproat Memorial U15A division of the tournament, leading to a MB vs MB final🏆
On Sunday night at Kinsmen arena, the Frost White would overcome the Frost Blue 7-4 from a full team effort, with 7 different goal scorers providing each of the 7 goals to secure Gold🥇 Ayden Mott of the Frost White led the U15 division in points with 11G and 2A for 13 points in 6 games!
Right behind him in the #2 spot on the leaderboards was Henry Hammerling of the Frost Blue, who scored 9G and 3A for 12 points. Carson Balzar locked it down in net throughout the tournament only allowing 20 goals against in 6 games, the lowest in the U15 division. Both their performances played a big part in their team securing Silver🥈

The Manitoba Frost teams were in Saskatoon over the weekend to compete against other “A” teams from across the prairies!
Our U13A teams battled hard throughout the weekend in the Silver Stick division of the tournament which concluded with the Winnipeg Frost Blue defeating the Manitoba West Frost White in the 5th place consolation game. Jaxon Henaire of the Frost Blue led our U13 age group with 2G and 2A for a total of 4 points in 3 games!

The Junior B’s are back in the win column, finishing off their southern Saskatchewan road trip with a pair of dominant performances in Weyburn. Owen Hamilton puts on an offensive clinic in game 1 netting 7 goals and 2 assists for a 9 point night!
Game 2 brought a much more balanced offensive charge with 15 goals from 11 different goal scorers, while rookie goaltender Mason Grant locked it down in the cage only allowing 1 goal that came late in the game.
The B’s are on the road home to enjoy a few weeks off before they head back out to Moose Jaw and Weyburn for the remainder of their season series’ against the 2 Saskatchewan clubs!

The seniors finish off their weekend road trip through northern Sask with their first ever W as the Sr Blizzard against the Prince Albert Outlaws 19-6. Captain Blaze Bezecki lead the way scoring 5 goals and completing the Gordie Howe hat trick late in the 2nd period!
Saturday night brought another tough battle against the leading Saskatoon Brewers, with the seniors falling 6-5 in a back and forth game that came right down to the last second. A strong performance by the defense and goaltender Drew Dickie held the boys in it right to the end. Colin Poitras brought the majority of the offense up front, putting up 4 goals in the contest.
The seniors are back on the road home, looking forward to their home opener on May 30th against the SWAT. See you there, it will be one you won’t want to miss!

After falling behind early, the JRs battle back through a 5 goal deficit and send the game into overtime, falling 8-7 to the MooseJaw Mustangs.
Up in Saskatoon the Seniors took the floor for their first game of the season against the Saskatoon Brewers, dropping their first of two bouts against them 13-9
A tough night for the boys in blue, luckily were back at it tomorrow night for the juniors first game against the Weyburn Razorbacks and game 2 against the Brewers for the seniors!

Our PGLL teams are on the road to Saskatchewan this weekend!
The Jr Bs are off for our first road trip in the PGLL, a 3 game trip that starts off against the MooseJaw Mustangs tonight at 8pm local time, followed by a double header against the Weyburn Razorbacks Saturday and Sunday, our first looks at both of these Southern Sask opponents.
As our Jr Bs are getting off the floor in MJ, our Seniors will be stepping on the floor in Saskatoon to kick off their inaugural PGLL season against the Brewers for their first of two against the league leading club. Their road trip then wraps up in Prince Albert on Sunday afternoon against the Outlaws!
