After a brief 17 hour bus ride to Calgary the boys would come off the bus and go straight to work, but ultimately, were unable to get the job done in Game 1. We’re back at it tomorrow afternoon for Game 2 at 2:30PM local time!
A. Cap Ty Woods had a night with 4🚨 2🍎 for a total of 6 points. And Cooper Seniuk came up huge in net throughout the contest, making 41 saves to hold the boys in it.

The Jr.A’s are headed back to Calgary tonight for Game 1 of our Best-of-5 series against the undefeated Raiders LC in the first round of playoffs.
Due to bus issues on route to Calgary, tonight’s game has been pushed back to 10:00PM.

Schmiechel continues to lead the O even when running short and off the bus with 3🚨+ 3🍎, a hand on all 6 of the Blizzard goals. Shoutout as well to Mason Grant, Jackson Rampersad and Easton Adamyk who all made their Jr.A debuts today!
The Junior A’s secured a spot in the RMJALL playoffs today in their inaugural season, with an 11-10W🔒
After 2 defensive battles including a 6-6 tie in yesterday’s game, the Blizz boys finished off their second weekend series in a row: 1-1-1. Second year Marek Goller showed up big in games 2&3, netting a hat trick and an assist in each contest to help his team clinch their first Jr.A playoff🚨
The A’s are back on the road home to Winnipeg where they’ll make a pitstop to rest up and prepare for their final 2 games of the season next weekend in Calgary, against the Raiders LC.

The Blizz Seniors capture gold in our inaugural season in the PGLL Senior division with a decisive 14-4 victory over the Saskatoon Brewers! Thank you to all the players, staff and volunteers for being a part of this first year in the PGLL and to all the fans who came out and supported us at our 4 home games🧊
It was an incredible year seeing our Alumni suit up in blue for a full season again, and we’re super excited to continue to grow this program and build up senior lacrosse in the province of MB. There is great potential to do big things here at the SR level in the coming years!

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME DAY🥶
Your Blizzard Seniors head up to Saskatoon today to face the #1 seed Brewers in a single game championship final! These two clubs last met at the beginning of our season in Saskatoon where the Brewers came out on top of the double header. Since then, the seniors have been perfect taking 9 in a row, including defeating the reigning champions in last nights semi-final, who gave the Brewers their only loss of the season. Today we look to make it 10 and secure PGLL gold in our inaugural season❄️❄️

The Jr Bs fell to the Swift Current Wolverines last night in the PGLL semi-final by a score of 13-10.
After falling behind early, our short-handed blizzard squad would claw their way back to make it a game but ultimately couldn’t get it done in Swift. Thank you to all the Blizzard fans and parents who made the trip out to Swift Current to support the boys and good luck to the Swift Current Wolverines as they head into the finals today!

Our PGLL senior semi-final matchup!
A familiar opponent in an unfamiliar place! We ended off the regular season at home against Standing Buffalo where we swept the weekend double header. Now, we head out to Fort Qu’Appelle for the first time for a single game semi-final against the defending champion Fighting Sioux in their home arena! The winner will move on to face the Saskatoon Brewers in Saskatoon the following day in a single game championship final!

Our PGLL junior B semi-final matchup!
We have not seen the Wolverines since our home opening weekend all the way back in April where we took the weekend series 2-1. We now head out to their barn for our first game in Swift Current! The winner will move on to face the Prince Albert Predators in a 3 game series final. Unfortunately there will be no live stream for this game.
