The Winnipeg Blizzard and NLL UnBOXed™ are excited to announce the 2026 Blizzard Frozen Fest. This all-day event is open to boys and girls ages 11–15 and features skills competitions, games, challenges, and mini games, all built around a full day of celebrating lacrosse, including U17 Blizzard vs U17 Swat, and Blizzard Jr A vs Swat Jr A games.

Participants will have the chance to meet NLL star Luc Magnan of the Ottawa Black Bears. Each registered player will receive a prize pack filled with National Lacrosse League, Winnipeg Blizzard, Warrior Lacrosse, and STX goodies. Additional prizes and awards will also be up for grabs.

All participants will be entered to win an authentic Winnipeg Blizzard jersey and take part in a ceremonial draw at that night's Jr. A game.

Summer 2026 marks a defining moment for the Winnipeg Blizzard and lacrosse in Manitoba.

With the Blizzard’s move into Junior A, and the introduction of Junior B and Senior B competition in the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League, major lacrosse is taking a bold step forward.

Adding to this momentum is an exciting new partnership with the Manitoba Lacrosse Association, launching the Frost Provincial A Program. Together, we are building a clear, high-performance pathway that will elevate development, raise standards, and provide Manitoba’s minor athletes with an unprecedented opportunity to reach the next level.
