Winnipeg Blizzard

ANNOUNCEMENT
The Winnipeg Blizzard, supported by NLL UnBOXed™, the Manitoba Lacrosse Association, and the Greater Winnipeg Lacrosse League, is proud to launch the 2026 Winnipeg Blizzard Frozen Fest, a youth development event built for the next generation of lacrosse players.
Spearheaded by the Winnipeg Blizzard, Frozen Fest is more than a one-day showcase. It reflects a connected pathway within the game, linking developing players to the systems, competition, and standards that exist at higher levels.
The Manitoba Lacrosse Association continues to guide that growth, while the Greater Winnipeg Lacrosse League provides the competitive foundation within the local community.

ANNOUNCEMENT
Summer 2026 marks a defining moment for the Winnipeg Blizzard and lacrosse in Manitoba.
With the Blizzard’s move into Junior A, and the introduction of Junior B and Senior B competition in the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League, major lacrosse is taking a bold step forward.
Adding to this momentum is an exciting new partnership with the Manitoba Lacrosse Association, launching the Frost Provincial A Program. Together, we are building a clear, high-performance pathway that will elevate development, raise standards, and provide Manitoba’s minor athletes with an unprecedented opportunity to reach the next level.
This is more than growth — it’s a new era of lacrosse in Manitoba. Stay tuned for upcoming details on how you can be part of what’s coming.
