The Winnipeg Blizzard organization is thrilled to announce that the Blizzard has been accepted into the RMLL Junior A division, starting in the 2026 season.

Winnipeg Blizzard Owner Terry Williams credits the Blizzard’s success over the past decade to its players, staff and volunteers that have made the program what it is today. The hard work and dedication from all involved has gotten us to this level. This move comes after a decade of success in the RMLL Junior B Tier 1 division where the Blizzard has been the most winningest franchise by record since its inception, capturing 7 East division titles, and 5 finals appearances resulting in 3 Larry Bishop Championships. This opportunity will provide Manitoba lacrosse’s high performance athletes a gateway to the highest level of play at the junior level, without having to leave the province.

The Winnipeg Blizzard would like to thank the Jr A Swat, Raiders, Mounties, and the Miners for unanimously backing our application to the league. We are excited to be a part of this league and compete against the top junior teams in the prairies.
