ANNOUNCEMENT

The Winnipeg Blizzard are excited to announce our Junior B team is moving to the PGLL, for the start of the 2026 season.

This move aims to provide Manitoba lacrosse players a competitive landscape better suited for our athletes seeking to continue their careers after minor, while making the transition to Blizzard Jr A. The relocation of this team will bring a reduced travel schedule, with lower player fees.

The team will remain comprised of a 20-25 player roster, and will see the team competing both on the road and at home, showcasing the PGLL in Manitoba.

Further details to come closer to the beginning of the season!

2023 Team tryouts for RMLL and Founders Cup

Dates: March 11th, 18th, 25th, and April 1st
Cost: $75.00 per player
Payment Deadline: Prior to the March 11th session

This year there will be player options. The Blizzard will select 25 players that wish to play for the Blizzard in the RMLL season. From this list, if there are players that do not wish to join the team at this year's Founders Cup, the coaching staff will select players that do wish to play at Founders and add them to the Founders roster.

At the start of the tryout session on March 11th, each player will be given a form that they need to fill out and hand in on the 18th of March. This form will be your declaration on which option you wish to be evaluated on. Good luck to all players

  • Option #1 - Request to be evaluated to play for the Blizzard in the RMLL season as well as at Founders Cup
  • Option #2 - Request to be Evaluated to play for the Blizzard only in the RMLL season
  • Option #3 - Request to be evaluated to play for the Blizzard only at the Founders Cup
There are three options:
