That’s a wrap on our second President’s Cup and the 2026 Blizzard season❄️
While we did not meet our own expectations that we set out for leading into this tournament, we look back on what has been a successful year overall for the Senior Blizzard. Our first season in the PGLL which led to our first SR league championship. And our first win at the President’s Cup where we brought a much higher level of competition to our opponents, than we had in our first run at the tournament. We’ve brought back the opportunity for Senior athletes to compete in the game of lacrosse against real competition, and we’ll continue to elevate this program to establish ourselves as a contender at the national level. We look forward to continue building up Senior lacrosse in the province of MB in 2027📈

The Seniors take on the Three Nations League and defending President’s Cup champs - the Snake Island Muskies in a rematch of last years quarterfinal matchup tonight at 8:00PM MDT❄️

Game 3 Final. After a tough round robin the Seniors go 0-3 putting us in 4th place of Pool A. Next up is the Quarterfinal which will be played at 8:00PM tomorrow (MDT) against defending champs - the Snake Island Muskies.

Here is our 2026 President’s Cup round robin schedule! Our Sr Blizzard kick off the very first game of the tournament against the Can-Am champs - the Newtown Golden Eagles, tomorrow at 10AM MST.
Returning for our second year at the Prezzy, with a full season under our belts and as the PGLL champions, the boys are ready to make a bold statement at this year’s tournament in Game 1!
