The Jr.A’s come out of the weekend home stand deadlocked with the Calgary Mounties 1-1-1, bringing us to a record of 3-7-1.
It was a hard fought and gritty series led by our veteran defensive core who locked it down throughout the weekend🔒 Out the front gate, Ty Woods and Marek Goller would both net 5 points in the 7-7 draw today with 2G & 3A a piece🎯
Next up, all 3 teams are off to Saskatchewan next weekend! The A’s have a triple header against the SWAT in Saskatoon, the B’s head to Swift Current for their playoff semi-final matchup, while the Seniors are also in Fort Qu’Appelle for their own semi-final playoff!

Game 1 goes to the Mounties in an OT barn burner.
Captain Zach Tinley returns to the lineup to have a major impact in the game defensively and scores the buzzer beater with 1 second left to send the game into overtime to give the Blizz boys a shot. Assistant Captain Ty Woods also came up big late in the game, leading the offense with a 3🚨1🍎 performance in the third period.

This wraps up our inaugural regular season. The boys end off 8-2 and secure 2nd place in the PGLL! We finish with the best goal differential in the league as well as the most goals for of any club.

The double header against Standing Buffalo goes today at Noon! If the Blizzard sweep the weekend series they will lock up 2nd place in PGLL and head to Standing Buffalo for the first round of playoffs - a single game semi-final. If they split the weekend, SB takes 1st place and the Blizz SRs would face the Saskatoon Brewers in the semi-final.

❄️The Seniors plowed through their southern Saskatchewan road trip with 3 dominant wins over Regina and MooseJaw to improve to a record of 6-2, clinching a playoff spot. 1 final weekend of the season remains, hosting the reigning champion Standing Buffalo next weekend to determine who we will face in the first round. First game goes at 8pm Saturday night!
❄️The Junior Bs hosted the PGLL jr reigning champs this past weekend for a triple header to wrap up their regular season. While they only took 1 win from Prince Albert, they finish off their regular season 7-5 and currently hold 2nd place in the league!
❄️The Junior As endured another tough road trip in Alberta against the current RMLL gold standard, the Raiders LC. They fall to 2-6 on the season but look forward to their next crack at Alberta, this time at home in 2 weeks against the Calgary Mounties on June 26th!
